Michelle + Oscar are getting married this Sunday so I am soooo excited to finally share their engagement photos. They had a really unique engagement shoot that definitely kept me on my toes and really encouraged my creativity to be at its best!
They wanted a location that incorporated a nature background but also roses because it was very important to them that they do photos of traditional Korean hanbok wear. Luckily, I went to one of the best schools ever: Cal Poly Pomona and CPP has the best locations for photo sessions. (I highly recommend you check it out.) & I know the location very well not only because I went to school there, but because I’ve done dozens of photo sessions here.
Michelle + Oscar met working at a hospital. Her friend told Oscar that Michelle thought he was cute and the rest is history.
I had a blast on this engagement shoot. I think it’s a true testament to how collaborative I am as a photographer. At the end of the day, your photo session is a part of you too and you should have input and a say. Leave the rest of the professional photo taking up to me!
Getting to see the beautiful hanboks that Michelle and Oscar wore was truly so amazing. I learned so much about how you put one on. To learn more about the significance of this traditional wear, click here.
These two are so genuine and have so much love for one another. I just know that although Covid has changed their wedding plans, all that matters is that they’re married and together.
I can’t wait to see y’all on Sunday!
